Getting to listen to some music I had forgotten about since my iPhone Restore. Listening to David Gray.
Interesting side effect of restoring the iPhone nad the original complaining of losing my music is that rebuilding my music I am finding albums I had forgotten about.

Update on restoring my iPhone and it worked, but see the link for more info
So, the backup and the restore worked and everything came back, such as contacts, my apps and settings (for the most part). However, one thing that I was not aware of or I didn’t read fully was that the music and the playlists would be lost. Not a big deal I suppose, but you know how long it can take to get the “perfect” play list together.
So, after several hours of backing up, restoring, which includes the OS factory default settings then copyin back your last backup I felt good.
Now I had one issue that was my photos would not sync to the iPhone. I would just see the Sync bar and nothing would change, no error it would just sit there. So after some researach it appears that on Windows with an NTFS partition once your photo sync is screwed up it will never work. The solution is to get a thumb drive, format to FAT 32 then copy your photos there and set that as your folder to sync from. All well and good, but take the thumb drive out and you are out of luck again. So, I took my second drive and shrank the partition down so I could format a FAT 32 block. I then copied my photos there, set that as the folder and all is good now.
So, now I will be over the weekend getting back my “perfect” song list.
